Located right on the edge of the San Jaun National Forest, Just 25 min from Durango and 5 min from Mancos, Wyatt West Ranch at 8100 feet elevation is one of the best kept secrets in Colorado. With trails directly off the ranch into over 2 million acres of National Forest you have your choice of everything from groomed trails to endless powder at over 12,000 feet elevation.
You can ride right from the door of our brand new 1600 sq foot cabin built in 2004. This cabin sleeps 6-8 people and has incredible mountain views with a 1200 sq foot private viewing deck. Fully equipped kitchen with Stainless fridge & freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A large great room and dining room are a great place to relax with a warm fire place while watching satellite TV or VCR.
The cabin has 2 private bedrooms, 1 loft bedroom, 2 full bathrooms and is fully furnished.
Just off the end of the driveway is the public snowmobile/ cross counrty ski parking lot. The groomer (which stays here on the ranch) breaks trail into over one million acres of National Forest. Miles of groomed trails lead into some of the best back country powder riding in the United States.
Dirt Bike & ATV trails are plentiful ranging from beginner to expert.
There are lakes and rivers close by for great fishing and recreation.
Hiking & Mountain bike trails are plentiful from beginner to expert.
Hunting for Record Elk, Deer & other Game is some of the best in the West.
Horse trails and outfitters are close by for summer activities.
